Faiths Against Hate is an Interfaith campaign of the Council for a Parliament of the World’s
Religions (CPWR) addressing the rising number of hate crimes against
religious minority groups in United States. It arose out of response to the massacre at the Sikh Gurdwara in Oak Creek, Wisconsin in August 2012 and the numerous other hate crimes occurring across the country. In view of the rising violence against religious minorities in the United States, the CPWR and, more specifically, the Faiths Against Hate campaign can provide leadership within the interfaith movement. We actively seek to stop hate
through the power of neighborly relations, dialogue, and engagement.
